Union Resources Limited (“Union” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stephen Gatley as a non-executive director of the Company.

Mr Gatley was nominated for appointment to the Company’s Board of Directors by Lundin Mining AB (“Lundin”), which is the Company’s largest shareholder. Mr Karl-Axel Waplan, who was previously appointed to the Board following nomination by Lundin, resigned from Lundin in January this year. Mr Waplan will continue to serve on Union’s Board as an independent director following his resignation from Lundin.

Mr Gatley is General Manager – Technical Support and Evaluations for Lundin Mining Corporation, the parent company of Lundin Mining AB. He is a qualified mining engineer with over 25 years experience in the base metals field. He has considerable experience in the management of mine operations and mine development projects, and international experience in Europe, Africa and South America. In his current role with Lundin Mining Corporation Mr Gatley provides corporate level technical support and project evaluation services.
