Appointment of Vice President - Mining, Granting of Stock Options

Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of
Robert (Bob) Powers as Vice President -- Mining. Bob is a mining
engineer with 30 years experience and is intimately familiar with all
phases of underground mining. Bob has worked extensively in Canada and
several European countries as an engineer, manager and consultant. As a
senior engineer and manager he worked at many Canadian gold mines
including Ross, MacIntrye and Golden Giant. Bob also worked on base
metal mines at Snow Lake, Geco and Myra Falls.

Most recently, Bob was instrumental in the re-activation of the
Aljustral mine in Portugal and the acquisition by Eurozinc Mining of
the Neves Corvo mine also in Portugal.

Bob has been involved with the Bjorkdal project for the past 18 months
and will be responsible for all aspects related to mine production,
scheduling and design at the Bjorkdal Mine. In addition Bob will assist
Gold-Ore in the evaluation of acquisitions of other properties with
near-term production potential.

team helping us achieve our goal of generating cash flow from gold
production to support aggressive exploration programs. The Bjorkdal
plant has a highly efficient Swedish operating team and Bob brings the
underground mining expertise required to supply ore to the plant."

The Company has granted incentive stock options to Company consultants
and employees to purchase up to 300,000 common shares at an exercise
price of $0.82. The options are exercisable for a period of three years
ending on January 14, 2011. The grant of the stock options is subject
to regulatory approval.
