      War Eagle Mining Appoints CFO

Vancouver, British Columbia - August 11, 2010 - War Eagle Mining
Company Inc. (TSXV - WAR) ("War Eagle" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce the appointment of Salil Dhaumya, B.Com., CMA, as the
Company's chief financial officer. Mr. Dhaumya has extensive experience
providing financial services to both public and private companies in
the areas of finance, administration and public accounting. He works
with several Canadian and US-Listed companies, and currently serves as
chief financial officer for Pan American Goldfields, Ltd. Prior to Mr.
Dhaumya's appointment, Simon Anderson, the Company's president and
chief executive officer, had been interim chief financial officer.
