Uranium Energy Corp Approved for Listing on the American Stock Exchange
Company's Shares Begin Trading on the American Stock Exchange with the New Ticker Symbol "UEC"
AUSTIN, TX – September 27, 2007 – Uranium Energy Corp (AMEX: UEC) (Frankfurt: U6Z) (Berlin: U6Z) is pleased to announce that its common shares have been approved for listing on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX).
The Company’s shares are anticipated to begin trading on AMEX on Friday September 28, 2007, under the ticker symbol “UEC”. The Company’s AMEX trading specialist will be Kellogg Capital Group LLC.
This approval is contingent upon the Company being in compliance with all applicable listing standards on the date it begins trading on the Exchange, and may be rescinded if the Company is not in compliance with such standards.
