Toronto, Ontario, July 13, 2016 -- The Directors of CANSTAR RESOURCES INC. (TSX-V: ROX) ('Canstar') are pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement financing comprising the sale of up to 10,000,000 Units, to be sold at $0.10 per Unit for gross proceeds of $1,000,000. Each Unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share for $0.15 until December 31, 2017. All securities issued in conjunction with the offering are subject to a hold period of four months after closing.

Proceeds of the financing will be used to fund exploration on the Company's Kenora Gold Project located in the Kenora area of Ontario.
