GINDALBIE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND RESIGNATION
Gindalbie Metals Limited (ASX: GBG - "Gindalbie") advises the appointment of Mr Tang Fuping as a non-executive director of the company following the resignation of Mr Shao Anlin.
Mr Shao was one of three Board members representing Gindalbie's biggest shareholder, its Karara joint venture
partner Ansteel.
Mr Tang, who has a PhD in Engineering from the Beijing Science & Technology University, is currently the Vice Chairman of Ansteel Group Corporation, General Manager of Ansteel Group in Anshan and Chairman of Ansteel Corporation Ltd.
Gindalbie Chairman Mr Keith Jones paid tribute to Mr Shao, who has been a non-executive director of Gindalbie since March 2011.
"Mr Shao has been a valuable member of the Board, especially during the challenging construction period in recent years," he said.
Mr Jones also welcomed Mr Tang, who he said was highly qualified and would bring valuable operational and steelmaking expertise to the Board.
"Ansteel's representatives have always been strong contributors to the Board and I look forward to working with Mr
Tang," he said.
