) is deeply saddened to report the passing of John Brownlie. John died suddenly on October 17 after suffering a heart attack. John was 66 years old and he has guided the Company since 2010 as Executive Chairman.

John was an icon in the mining business whose career spanned nearly 30 years as a mining engineer. John was responsible for the design, construction and operation of mining projects all over the world. The entire mining industry has suffered a great loss.

'John was not only my business partner but, also my best friend. He was a driving force in the development of Ely Gold's projects in Nevada', stated President & CEO Trey Wasser. 'Our heartfelt condolences go out to John's family and loved ones. There is simply no way to describe this tragic loss'.
