NEW POWER PLANT PROJECT FOR SOCIETE LE NICKEL`S FACILITIES IN NEW CALEDONIA

Having conducted a detailed comparative review of three competing bids for the power plant project which is intended to take over from the current power station that supplies SLN`s Doniambo plant in New Caledonia with electricity, the Boards of Directors of ERAMET and of Société Le Nickel (SLN), meeting on 30 September 2014 and 2 October 2014 respectively, have selected the Eiffage group as the "preferred bidder". A substantial boost to SLN`s environmental and financial performance is expected from the power plant.

The two Boards noted that the planned date of second-quarter 2015 for the final investment decision for this project remains unchanged.
