Nyrstar held an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders in Brussels today. As this was a second meeting, there was no quorum requirement for the Extraordinary General Meeting. All items on the agenda were approved. In relation to the agenda item 4, the powers of the board of directors under the authorized capital were renewed for a period of one (1) year.  

The Special General meeting will be reconvened on Tuesday 28 June 2011 at 3.00 p.m.
