Geophysical Survey Identifies New Lateral Extension of 400 Metres at Lac Levac Nickel Property
Montreal, Quebec -November 30th, 2007 - Golden Goose Resources Inc. (TSX-V: GGR) (the "Company") is pleased to report that an InfiniTEM ground geophysics survey, on its wholly-owned Lac Levac nickel property, has detected a large, conductive anomaly indicating that the known mineralization on the property probably extends to the East for a minimum of an additional 400 metres. The Lac Levac property lies in the James Bay area, 260 km north of Chibougamau in Northern Quebec.
The survey was conducted over two grids, a West grid over the NISK-1* anomaly, and another one towards the East, a few hundred metres from the first grid. A total of 20.8 line-km were surveyed during the month of October 2007 by a team from Abitibi Gophysique Inc.
On the West grid, a large, conductive anomaly was detected between lines 0+00E and 10+00E for a total length of 1 km. This anomaly, NISK-1*, corresponds to the 444 metres area drilled by GGR last spring, (historically named INCO anomaly) which led to our 43-101 resource estimate, produced last summer and its extension to the East, which corresponds to a new conductive zone of more than 400 additional metres in length.
A program of 6,000 metres of definition drilling is presently being carried out on the NISK-1* anomaly to follow up on a 2,500 metre program completed in 2006. The anomaly has been drilled over a total East-West axis distance of 440 metres to date, between lines 1+00E and 6+00E, and to a vertical depth of 200 metres. The zone remains open at depth and to the East. The data generated by drilling will be used to update the NI 43-101-compliant evaluation report and resource estimate dated July 2007.
"While ground geophysics have been conducted on this area before, this is the first time we have done an InfiniTEM survey," said Jean-Marc Lacoste, President of Golden Goose. "The NISK-1* anomaly appears very clearly on the map, extending further to the East than we previously realized. We intend to move the two drills East to begin testing this new area as soon as the current program is completed. Depending on the results of drilling, we may also perform extensions of the InfiniTEM survey to complete coverage of the anomaly." The Company is also considering drilling additional holes to test another anomaly detected by the survey on the east grid.
The 43-101 July 2007 report shows an indicated resource of 516,000 tonnes at 0.89% nickel, 0.39% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.79 g/t palladium and 0.14 g/t platinum and an inferred resource of 734,000 tonnes at 0.89% nickel, 0.34% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.77 g/t palladium and 0.14 g/t platinum.
The drilling program is being planned and supervised by Marc-Antoine Beaupr Ing., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43 101. Mr. Beaupr has approved the contents of this press release.
* NISK-1: The Lac Levac anomalies will all be named in the Cree Language. NISK translates to GOOSE.
