      JNR Increases Private Placement

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, August 12, 2010 - Mr. Richard Kusmirski,
President of JNR Resources Inc. (TSXV: JNN) announces that due to
strong demand, JNR has agreed to increase the private placement
announced on August 3, 2010 from $250,000 to $400,095 These funds will
be raised by the Company issuing a total of 2,353,500 units at a price
of $0.17 per unit, each unit consisting of one common share and one
common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to
acquire one additional common share for a period of two years at a
price of $0.25 in the first twelve months and at a price of $0.30
thereafter.

The private placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture
Exchange.

The funds raised by way of the private placement will be used for
exploration programs on the Company's properties located in
Saskatchewan and Newfoundland.
