Mr. Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Galp Energia, and Mr. Luís Palha da Silva, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of Galp Energia, have informed in today's Board of Directors meeting that, as indicated in due time to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, they did not wish to be appointed for the corporate bodies of Galp Energia in the context of the elections taking place at the next General Shareholders Meeting of April 16.
Mr. Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira has served Galp Energia during approximately 14 years, first as CEO of Petrogal, S.A. and, in a second stage, as CEO of Galp Energia for approximately 9 years.
The long period of activity and the developments implemented in Galp Energia under his leadership are worth of a public expression of appreciation and recognition by the company.
Mr. Luís Palha da Silva has served as executive director of Galp Energia in the past 3 years in a competent and dedicated manner for which the company is grateful.

The Board of Directors whishes Mr. Manuel Ferreira De Oliveira and Mr. Luís Palha da Silva the continuity of professional success in the new responsibilities that, in another context, they might face.
