VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 26, 2011) - INTEGRA GOLD CORP. (News - Market indicators) (The "Company") is pleased to announce their results from recent drilling completed on the Triangle Zone located 550 metres south of the No. 4 Plug at its Lamaque gold project. Drilling consisted of 3,148 metres in 9 holes. The first four drill targets intersected significant gold mineralization with assays for the remaining five holes still pending.

The purpose of conducting exploration drilling in this area is to investigate the potential extension of the mineralized vein or 'flats' between the Triangle Zone and the No. 4 Plug and to replicate previous drill successes in the Triangle Zone. 

The Triangle Zone was discovered by drill testing an ovoid shape magnetic anomalous zone which corresponds to a younger tonalite intrusion. The anomalous zone extends both east and west over a strike of length of 393 metres and is 785 metres wide. The mineralized veins occur as part of related vein clusters within the fractured and altered zones of the tonalite which intrudes the surrounding intermediate to mafic volcanic (mostly lapilli and blocky tuffs, undifferentiated pyroclastics and basalt). North of the Triangle Zone, two other similar ovoid shaped anomalous magnetic zones are believed to correspond to mineralized intrusions.

The 2011 drill program will test these targets and verify their potential and continuity. Additional drilling on the Triangle Zone will also seek extensions of the mineralization at depth and laterally. It will also define the known and recently discovered vein networks using 25 and 50 metre drill spacing as well as confirm the size and geomorphology of the auriferous mineralized zones.

Corporate Update

The Company is in the process of preparing a corporate update report which will provide a more in depth review of this year's 20,000 metre drill program, a revised estimate of when the 43-101 report will be ready (delayed due to a request by one of the two independent geological companies preparing the report for additional drilling to be done in the Forestel Zone completed in late January) and update Integra's focus and outlook. As the Company continues its non-stop drill program and in view of its continual successes; follow-up resource calculations will be ongoing once the pending report has been released.

Triangle Zone 

The Triangle Zone is located approximately 550 metres south of the No. 4 Plug. The mineralization at this zone is hosted by two types of gold-bearing quartz-tourmaline veins. One vein type comprises a sub vertical vein hosted within an east-west trending ductile shear zone (typical of Abitibi Greenstone Belt gold mineralization. The second vein type comprises of sub-horizontal veins which occupy extensional fractures, formed between ductile shear zones.

QUALITY ASSURANCE - QUALITY CONTROL

Thorough quality assurance and quality control program (QA/QC) protocol was utilized on the project including duplicate, blank and standard samples for all the holes. The core samples were respectively submitted directly to ALS Laboratory Group and Bourlamaque Labs in Val-d'Or for preparation and analysis. Analysis was conducted on 1 assay ton samples. Analysis of gold was by fire assay, with a gravimetric finish on samples exceeding 5 g/t gold. The gravimetric assay results were used for the reported composite intervals. The Lamaque project exploration is under the direct supervision of Alain Beauregard, P.Geol. of Geologica Inc., an independent qualified person as designated by National Instrument 43-101 who has reviewed the technical content of this release.

THE LAMAQUE PROPERTY

The Lamaque property is immediately adjacent to both the Sigma and Lamaque mines, which have produced approximately 9 million ounces of gold. The 2010 drilling campaign was initiated to expand the existing NI 43-101, inferred resource estimate at the Lamaque property which currently exists at: 375,375 gold ounces (1,238,308 tonne at 9.43 g/t gold) (WGM, 2004)

Two principal types of veins occur at the Lamaque Mine and on the property: sub-vertical and sub-horizontal veins. The veins occupy openings created by irregularities during progressive movement within the shears creating what are known as 'flats' which can be very high grade gold deposits.
