Yorbeau Intersects More High-Grade Gold at Lac Gamble

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 17, 2008) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. ("Yorbeau")(TSX:YRB.A) is pleased to report exciting results from an additional six diamond drill holes on one of its prime targets on the Rouyn property, the Lac Gamble target.

"We are of the opinion that we are drilling the upper portions of a major gold zone. The higher grade shoot within the zone is more than 400 m in strike length and open along strike and to depth. Given that many gold deposits along the regional structure of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break (CLLB) extend to depths of more than 1,000 m, we are confident that gold zones on the Rouyn property, including the Lac Gamble zone, extend to depth. The main Lac Gamble gold shoot plunges steeply to the NNW, and holes reporting low gold grades are located outside of this high-grade shoot" said Dr. Thomas L. Robyn, President and CEO of Yorbeau.

(1): true width is an approximation based on the dip of the Piche
     formation but could be somewhat different because of structural
     complexity (folding and shearing) in the CLLB.
(2): VG was observed in a quartz vein with minor arsenopyrite,
     sphalerite and chalcopyrite in the southern sediments.

The accompanying drill hole location map and long section of the Lac Gamble zone show the locations and piercing points of the holes completed to date. A target location map is also included.

In addition to the seven holes reported above, another six have been completed at Lac Gamble and a seventh one is being drilled. Visible gold was observed in four of these, as shown in the following table:

Not all holes with visible gold (VG) return potentially-economic gold assay results, but the prevalence of VG in the Lac Gamble zone is a good indication that an important gold zone is in the vicinity. VG, therefore, is an important indicator mineral for exploration.

The Lac Gamble zone remains open to the east and to depth. One of the Company's two drill rigs is continuing to offset the gold zone to determine its strike length.

Bouzan West Target

Four holes have been completed on this target, all of which intersected the target Piche formation. Assay results have been received for two of them, holes 08-BW-480 and 08-BW-481. These holes targeted the ultramafic Piche formation and no significant assays have been reported. Results for holes 08-BW-482 and 08-BW-483 are pending.

Lake Bouzan Target

Four holes have been completed on this target, all of which intersected the target Piche formation. Assay results are pending.

Smokey Creek Target

The Company's second drill rig is currently drilling this target to test the target Piche formation and the structural intersection of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break and the Smokey Creek Fault. The first of four holes has been completed at a hole length of 725 m and geologic logging is in progress.

The qualified persons under National Instrument 43-101 are Thomas L. Robyn Ph.D., CPG, RPG and Louis R. Bernier P.Geo., Ph.D., both of whom are Directors of the Company.

Samples are analyzed by ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. All samples are first analysed by fire assay with an assay charge of 50 grams. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are redone by fire assay followed by gravimetric method. Samples returning more than 6 g/t and those with visible gold have their rejects analysed by metallic sieve method. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of insertion of blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assaying laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.
