DYNASTY METALS & MINING APPOINTS NICK FURBER CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
- BILL MCCARTNEY APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Vancouver, BC, June 28, 2007 - Dynasty Metals & Mining Inc. (TSXV: DMM, the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Furber, of Vancouver, as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective July 1, 2007.

Mr. Furber replaces William McCartney, who assumes the position of Director of Business Development for the Company.

Mr. Furber is a Chartered Accountant (England) and Chartered Financial Analyst. He joins the Company from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a Senior Manager in the M&A Transaction Advisory group. Previously, Mr. Furber was a vice-president in the Corporate Finance group of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has spent over 10 years in Vancouver and London providing audit and corporate advisory services.

Company President and CEO, Robert Washer, commented: "We are pleased to have someone of Nick's calibre join our management team as we expand our operations in Ecuador and move toward production at our Zaruma gold project. Nick's appointment will allow Bill McCartney to focus on the development of new business initiatives and capital markets for us."

Mr. Furber will receive incentive stock options to purchase 100,000 common shares of the Company for a period of five years at a price per share equal to the greater of $6.00 and the closing price of the Company's shares on June 29, 2007.
