VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct 10, 2014) - Greg Struble, President and Chief Executive Officer of Maudore Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MAO)(OTCBB:MAOMF)(FRANKFURT:M6L) ("Maudore" or the "Corporation"), announces today that Maudore, together with its subsidiary Aurbec Mines Inc. ("Aurbec"), have each received a 44 day extension from the Superior Court of Canada, Quebec Commercial Division in which to make a proposal under the Notice of Intention ("NOI") that was filed on September 8th under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada). The Corporation and Aurbec now have until Friday November 21st in which to complete and present their proposal to their creditors.
Pursuant to the NOI filings, Samson Belair/Deloitte & Touche Inc. will continue as the trustee in the Proposal proceedings of Maudore and Aurbec, and in that capacity will monitor and assist the companies in their restructuring efforts.
