Runruno Gold Project Update

Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL) today reports that milling operations at Runruno have been suspended due to an issue with the feed end bearing on the mill. The mill has been undergoing "test running and debugging" operations as part of the commissioning and ramp up procedure. The issue is currently being fully assessed and representatives of the manufacturer CITIC are on site assisting. A further announcement will be made once the results of the assessment are known.

The carbon in leach circuit, BIOX® and ASTOR (cyanide destruction) circuits have commenced "test running and debugging" operations.
