New Porphyry Target To Be Drilled At Copper Ace Project

Vancouver, BC, January 11, 2008 - Copper Ridge Explorations Inc.
("Copper Ridge" or the "Company") announces that it will drill a
minimum of 1,200 m on its 100% owned Sheridan claim group, part of its
Copper Ace copper-molybdenum project adjacent to Taseko Mines Limited's
Gibraltar Mine, south central British Columbia. The property is road
accessible, approximately 40 km north of Williams Lake, B.C.

The target at Sheridan is a copper, molybdenum and zinc soil anomaly
with a strong, coincident Induced Polarization ("IP") chargeability
anomaly and a weak magnetic anomaly. The IP anomaly is approximately
1,500 m wide and in excess of 2,500 m long. The soil geochemical
anomaly, greater than 1,500 m in diameter, is defined by moderately
anomalous copper and molybdenum values with fringing anomalous zinc
values. The moderate intensity of the anomaly may be the result of
thick glacial till cover. Government geology maps show the property to
be underlain by Cache Creek Group volcanic and sedimentary rocks and
Cretaceous felsic intrusive rocks. No rock outcrops have yet been
observed within the anomaly area. However, the anomaly lies along trend
with the mineralization at the Gibraltar Mine, 10 km to the northeast
(see attached figure). The soil anomaly has been developed over two
years of prospecting and exploration at Copper Ace. The IP and magnetic
geophysical surveys were completed in December 2007 by Scott Geophysics
Ltd. of Vancouver. The Sheridan claim group has recently been expanded
from 2,740 hectares to 6,210 hectares in size.

The Company believes the Sheridan geophysical and geochemical survey
results present a compelling target for a new porphyry
copper-molybdenum discovery. The drill program, planned to commence in
early February, will include six to eight drill holes for a total of
1,200 m. Maps showing the geophysical and geochemical characteristics
of the new Sheridan anomaly can be seen on the Copper Ridge web site at
www.copper-ridge.com. Mr. J. Greg Dawson, P.Geo., Vice President of
Exploration for Copper Ridge, is the Qualified Person for the Copper
Ace project and is responsible for the technical content of this news
release.
