ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT
FINANCING

Amerix Precious Metals Corporation (APM: TSXV) (“Amerix” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Canaccord Genuity Corp. (the “Agent”) to act as agent in connection with a proposed fully marketed private placement (the “Offering”) of units (the “Units”) to raise gross proceeds of approximately $3.0 million. Each Unit will be offered at a price of $0.12 per Unit and will consist of one common share of the Company (a “Common Share”) and one half of one common share purchase warrant (a “Warrant”). Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.18 at any time on or before that date which is 24 months after the closing date.

The net proceeds raised under the Offering will be for the advancement of the Company’s Limão project and for general working capital purposes. The Offering is expected to close on or about October 17, 2012 (the “Closing Date”) and is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all� necessary approvals including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Common Shares and Warrants comprising the Units will be subject to resale restrictions for a period of four months and one day from the closing date under applicable securities legislation.
