Strongbow Exploration Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the non-brokered private placement of 750,000 flow-through units of the Company previously announced on May 14, 2008 has closed. The Company sold 750,000 flow-through units at $0.40 per flow-through unit for gross proceeds of $300,000. Each flow-through unit consists of one flow-through share and one half of one non-flow-through share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional non-flow-through common share of the Company for a period of twelve months at a price of $0.45 per share. Each flow-through share issued under this non-brokered private placement is to be qualified as a “flow-through” share under the Income Tax Act (Canada).  The flow-through shares, the warrants and the shares underlying the warrants are subject to a hold period expiring on September 15, 2008.
The net proceeds from the private placement financing will be used to fund exploration of Strongbow’s Snowbird nickel project properties, including the Nickel King property, and its other Canadian mineral properties.
