Bayfield Completes Phase 1 Exploration on Gold Creek Property,
Acquires Additional Property in Northwestern Ontario
Vancouver, BC - Bayfield Ventures Corp. (TSX-V: BYV) (FWB: B4N) (the ?Company?) announces that a detailed till sampling program has been completed on its newly acquired 520 hectares Gold Creek property in the Pickle Lake area of northwestern Ontario.

An in-depth prospecting and geological mapping program has also been completed. The Gold Creek property is situated along a geological contact with a known Greenstone belt and a Granodiorite intrusion. Bayfield is attempting to qualify historic data of high grade gold float samples reported from the immediate area.
Approximately 70 till samples have been taken from the property and have now been submitted to a laboratory for an analysis of content of gold grain counts within the tills. A number of rock samples have also been submitted to the lab for analysis. The Company is preparing a budget for an additional work program.
Bayfield Ventures has also acquired another property via staking in the same general area. The new Banana Lake property consists of 2 claim blocks totaling 32 units (520 hectares). The Banana Lake claims are located approximately 17 kilometres to the south of the Gold Creek claims. Historical airborne geophysical data available from government assessment files indicate a number of untested airborne targets are present on the claims. Base metal mineralization in this type of geological setting warrants additional evaluation.
The Company anticipates a fall / winter program to be conducted on the newly acquired Banana property.
David J. Busch, B.A., B.Sc., PGeo. is the qualified person under the meaning of National Instrument 43-101 and has reviewed the data in this News Release.
