VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 27, 2011) - Habanero Resources Inc. ("Habanero" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:HAO.V) (PINK SHEETS:HBNRF) (FRANKFURT:HRJ) wishes to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 10 million units at $0.13 per flow-through unit and three million non flow-through units at $0.11 for total gross proceeds of $1,630,000, subject to regulatory approval.

Each flow-through unit will consist of one common share and one transferable share purchase warrant. The warrants associated with flow-through units will be exercisable at $0.20 per share for two years. Each non-flow through until will consist of one common share and one transferable share purchase warrant. The warrants associated with non flow-through units will be exercisable at $0.15 for five years. A finder's fee may be payable in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange rules. Proceeds from this financing will go towards the first phase of drilling at the Haldane Silver Prospect in the Yukon; work on the White Gold Prospect in the Yukon; the Lezai Prospect in Quebec; and for general working capital.
