Jet Gold Closes Private Placement

Vancouver, BC - April 29, 2008 - Robert L Card, President, Jet Gold
Corp (the "Company") announces that the private placement originally
reported on February 15, 2008 has been approved by the TSX Venture
Exchange and has closed.

A total of 3,200,000 units at a price of $ .15 per unit were sold
resulting in gross proceeds to the Company of $ 480,000. Each unit
consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant entitling
the holder to purchase an additional common share at a price of $ .25
cents per share for a period of two years from closing of the private
placement.

All securities will be subject to a four-month hold period expiring
August 29, 2008 in accordance with applicable securities laws.
