Completion of Share Placement and $4 million Capital Raising

Axiom Mining Limited ("Axiom Mining") (ASX code: AVQ) today announced a share placement of 16.01 million new shares at 25 cents each for a capital raising of approximately A$4 million.

 

The placement was to sophisticated and professional investors and was managed by Bell Potter Securities Ltd. Following this placement, Axiom Mining will have 207,970,181 million shares on issue.

 

The funds will be used to accelerate the Company's exploration and drill programs in Australia and Vietnam,acquisition of new assets and for working capital.

KEY PROJECTS (100%)

                        �� Cardross - copper-gold-silver (zinc) project. Historic production 24,000t @ 8.4% Cu, 2.9g/t Au and 113g/t Ag. Mineralisation open at depth and along strike. Strong gradient array IP anomaly coincident with mineralised zone. Drilling underway.

                        �� OK Mines - historic production 87,000t @ 9.2% Cu plus gold-silver credits. VMS and porphyry gold-copper potential. 3D IP geophysics successfully used to select drill targets. Drilling to resume in August 2007.

                        �� Reconnaissance drilling in 2006 produced excellent assay intercepts that are being followed-up by drilling in 2007.

 

�� Mt Molloy - drill ready with historic drill intercept containing 11 m @ 5.3% Zn and 1.3% Cu.

�� White Hills - recent grab samples in outcrop contain up to 2.5% Cu. Other samples assayed between 0.91g/t and 29.3g/t Au.

                        �� Applying modern deposit modelling, state of the art technologies AND deeper drilling!

�� Both properties carry potential similar to gold deposits being mined at Sepon, Laos by Oxiana - around 45 km west across the border. Gold-silver-base metals hosted by "reactive rocks". Large sulphide-bearing breccia zones intersected in recent drilling.

                        �� Pu Sam Cap (PSC) - "major alkalic mineralising event". JV - target plus 6.6 million ounces Au deposit. Operates under "Newmont Venture Agreement".

                        �� Valuable proprietary database delivering project pipeline.
