CONTINUUM RETAINS JOSE JUAN ZORRILLA OF HUMAN ENVIRONMENT GROUP TO OVERSEE COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR MEXICO
January 29, 2008 - Vancouver, B.C.: Dale Schultz, Vice President Exploration of Continuum Resources Ltd (TSXV:CNU) is pleased to announce that Jose Juan Zorrilla of Human Environment Group has been retained to oversee community relations and social management for all projects in the country of Mexico.
Jose Juan Zorrilla, PhD, is senior partner and social specialist of the Human Environment Group. He was born in Mexico where he later received an MBA from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. After concluding postgraduate studies in Sustainable Development, he immigrated to Canada where he completed a PhD in environmental design at the University of Calgary. He has fourteen years of experience consulting and managing projects related to social development in Canada and internationally. Internationally he has worked for the World Bank, IDB, CIDA, JICA, National and Local Governments, private corporations, non-governmental organizations, universities and multi-national organizations such as the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation, the Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin (COICA) and the Regional Association of Oil and Natural Gas Companies in Latin America and the Car
ibbean (ARPEL).
Dr. Zorrilla has designed and implemented community relations plans, social impact assessments and public consultation programs for a number of Natural Resource development firms including Tyler Resources, Synenco Energy (Sinopec), Ascendant Copper, Hunt Oil, BlackRock Resources, Pluspetrol, Grupo Techint, and Husky Energy among others. Currently, he assists the IDB monitoring and supervising compliance with social legislation and commitments of the Camisea Project in Peru and assists the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy of Bolivia to strengthen the social component of environmental management. Dr. Zorrilla is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary contributing to the International Indigenous Studies program and the Faculty of Social Work.

(TSXV: FVI) on the San Jose silver project, on which drilling continues to expand on the resource estimate previously announced by the Company on March 12, 2007.
