Kilgore Signs Surface and Mineral Lease Covering Prospective
Uranium Lands

Kilgore Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: KAU) reports that it has signed a surface
and mineral lease covering 13,119 acres of prospective uranium lands in
Carter County, Montana. The lease provides for surface access rights to
lands under which Kilgore has mineral ownership through the location of
federal lode claims, and acquisition of privately owned minerals on a
portion of the lease. The lease covers the surface of the Acadia claims
which comprise the Cochran Project. There are historical (not NI 43-101
compliant) resources on the Cochran Project which was extensively
drilled by Kerr McGee during the 1970's. There are also historical
resources (not NI 43-101 compliant) on the privately owned minerals,
also extensively drilled by Kerr McGee, acquired under the lease.

This is an important step in moving the Cochran Project forward. The
successful negotiation of this agreement consolidates Kilgore's
holdings in the area and paves the way for exploration, permitting and,
if warranted, development of the project.
