VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 2, 2015) - Sona Resources Corp. ("the Company" or "Sona") (TSX VENTURE:SYS)(QS7.F) announces that it has been reclassified as a Tier 2 Issuer by the TSX Venture Exchange, effective September 3, 2015, as a result of the Company failing to meet the Continued Listing Requirements as outlined in Exchange Policy 2.5.

In accordance with Exchange Policy 2.5, the Company must remain as a Tier 2, for a minimum of six months prior to the Exchange accepting an application for graduation to Tier 1.
