Nayarit Gold - 43-101 Technical Report Received for the Orion Gold Project
Nayarit Gold Inc. (NYG: TSX.V) is pleased to announce it has received a te chnical report entitled "Nayarit Gold Inc. - Orion Gold Exploration Project , Municipality of Acaponeta, State of Nayarit, Mexico" dated February 27, 2 007 and it has been filed at www.sedar.com. This technical report was prep ared by Baltazar Solano Rico of Behre Dolbear de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., an i ndependent Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101. This report covers the diamond drilling completed between July 2005 and June 2006 compl eted on the Orion Gold Project's Orion-Estrella target. Mr. Solano has mad e numerous site visits to the property in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 and has undertaken and/or supervised all Behre Dolbear technical studies completed on the Orion Gold Project.
Several of Mr. Solano's recommendations in the report have already been com pleted by Nayarit Gold Inc. He recommended deeper targeting on the La Estr ella Vein, below +80m masl (metres above sea level) where the vein is open, and following up on the mineralization in hole OR05-05 for the possible co ntinuity of mineralization at depth.
A Phase II drill program was completed by Nayarit Gold. Some Phase II data is still being compiled and will be released when available. Of the result s from the first 6 holes released in press release 22-2006 on October 4, 20 06, for the Phase II drill program, the most significant include: 17.23 gpt gold over 2.0 m in holes OR06-21; 4.15 gpt gold over 2.00 m in OR06-21 and 1.10 gpt gold over 13.50 m in hole OR06-20.
The 123 page technical report also includes information relating to concess ion holdings, general exploration, and surface rights agreements, as well a s sections, plans, maps and photographs.
Mr. Solano and Behre Dolbear have been retained to complete an update to th is technical report which will include the 2006 drilling and this report wi ll be released when available.
