The 12,550 hectare Property is located in central Newfoundland, 55 kilometres(kms) south of the town of Buchans.

Initial exploration in the Valentine Lake area was conducted in the early 1960’s. The second phase of exploration on the property was done in the late 1970’s-early 1980’s. The Valentine Lake gold deposit was discovered by BP in 1986.
