The Angas zinc mine is located 2km outside the rural town of Strathalbyn, 60km south-east of Adelaide
 
History of the ANGAS Project
The Angas zinc and silver-lead deposit was discovered in 1991 by Aberfoyle Resources Limited, but, on its analysis of the regional geology, was deemed not large enough to warrant development. Terramin Australia took a different view and, after acquiring the leases in 1997, commenced an intensive drilling program to further define the mineral reserves.
 
Geology of the ANGAS Project
