VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. (THM) on Monday reported a loss of $1.7 million in its third quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share.

The company's shares closed at 43 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 77 cents.
