Roger Higgins joins Minotaur Board

The directors of Minotaur Exploration Limited are pleased to advise that Dr Roger Higgins has been appointed a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 1 July 2016.

Dr Higgins has extensive international mining industry experience. He is a non executive director of Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM). Roger previously was Senior Vice President of Copper at Canadian company, Teck Resources Limited, prior to which, he was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with BHP Billiton Base Metals in Australia and held senior operations management positions with BHP Billiton in Chile. Roger has a PhD in water resources from the University of NSW, a Master of Science from the University of Aberdeen, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Queensland. He holds the position of Adjunct Professor with the Sustainable Minerals Institute, University of Queensland. Roger is a Non-Executive Director of Metminco (ASX: MMC) and Chair of the International River Foundation.
