FuelCell Energy Appoints Kurt Goddard as Vice President Investor Relations
DANBURY, Conn., April 6, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FuelCell Energy (Nasdaq:FCEL) a leading manufacturer of high efficiency ultra-clean power plants using renewable and other fuels for commercial, industrial, government, and utility customers today announced that Kurt Goddard has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Investor Relations. Mr. Goddard will be responsible for communicating the strategy and financial results of the Company while building relationships with investors and analysts.
Prior to joining FuelCell, Mr. Goddard was senior manager investor relations for Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer of construction and lifting equipment where he spent almost 12 years in Investor Relations and other finance roles. He worked closely with management to increase the analyst coverage of Terex and enhanced the communications efforts of the Company through investor presentations, targeted investor outreach and investor oriented website improvements. He was also part of the team that created the Financial Planning & Analysis department and he played an active role in the Treasury group, including trade finance and establishing global cash management systems. Prior to Terex, he helped to establish global treasury operations for Iomega Corporation, a computer storage manufacturer and began his finance career as a lending officer in commercial banking.
