The article, which focuses on Sparton's unique joint venture with the China National Nuclear Corporation to extract

At the present time Sparton is the only foreign company permitted to produce uranium from any source in China.
The Company's secondary uranium recovery programs stress the fact that removing radioactive uranium from various forms
of waste is environmentally positive. The work is receiving strong support in China from federal provincial and local
government agencies. These projects will not only generate new fuel sources for non greenhouse gas producing energy
but also provide useful products for recycling into the cement, concrete or filler industries. The Lincang waste ash project
is at the bulk sample stage and, subject to financing, is expected to progress to final feasibility within the next 12 months.
