The Nyakafuru Joint Venture is located in the Bokombe District of Tanzania in the Lake Victoria Goldfields. The project is approximately 140 kms directly SSE of the regional centre of Mwanza.

| Geology of the Nyakafuru Project |
|
|
Lithologies identified to date include lower greenschist facies mafic volcanics (sub-alkaline island arc basalts), doleritic intrusives, quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusives and Proterozoic dolerite dykes. Rock types interpreted from aeromagnetic mages include diorite, mafic to intermediate tuffaceous / volcaniclastic sediments, and minor BIF / chert.
