Location of the Moly King Project
The Moly King Project comprises two tenement applications (EPM16499 and EPM16500) located near Stanthorpe in the New England Fold Belt in south eastern Queensland.
 
History of the Moly King Project
Tin was first discovered in the Stanthorpe area in the 1870's and about 50,000 tonnes of the metal was mined from alluvial and eluvial deposits. EPM16499 contains a large number of historical tin workings in the north and two significant molybdenum prospects, Moly King and the dormant Leis Molybdenum Mine in the south.
 
Geology of the Moly King Project
The Project covers a major granite complex and adjacent rocks and is prospective for deposits of gold, molybdenum, tin and tungsten.
