History of the Silver Strand Project
Discovered in the 1960’s, the Silver Strand is a relatively recent discovery by Coeur d’Alene Mining District standards and has only been explored to shallow depths -- about 100 meters below the surface. Historic production occurred sporadically from the 1970s until 1981 and consisted of 12,500 tonnes at a grade of 3.2 gpt gold and 330 gpt silver
