The El Limon gold deposits are located within the Morelos Norte project, approximately 180 kilometres south of Mexico City and approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Goldcorp’s Los Filos gold project.

| History of the El Limon Project |
|
TeckCominco began exploration in the district in the late 1990s and drilling began in 2002. The El Limon zones were originally discovered as a result of regional fieldwork carried out around the Los Filos discovery in the mid 1990s.
