The Flat Earth Society Responded To A Tweet By Elon Musk: ‘Thanks For The Question’
The Tesla and SpaceX chief, Elon Musk, has a rather complex understanding of the universe, and Earth’s shape. He even made a tweet directed at those who believe the Earth is flat, and the response from the Flat Earth society will leave you dumbfounded. Elon Musk would have to have a working knowledge of Earth’s shape in order for his math to work and his company to propel a spacecraft to Mars, which is a goal of SpaceX’s. With all the news swirling around flat Earth conspiracy theories recently,

Commodity Futures Manipulation: How Bad Did It Get Still Ongoing
How bad is commodity futures manipulation? Jens Blecker and Thomas Schad propose to find out. The following video is a solicitation for a crowdfunding operation. Some readers may not be interested because of that aspect, although most readers would like an answer. If the stated funding goal is not met, no money is collected. The biggest risk is Bleker and Schad fail, not that they take whatever is collected and walk away. Commodity Shadows Game Here are the rules and the background behind the

This Is What A Health Care Death Panel Looks Like And A Baby Is About To Die Because Of It
This article was originally published by Claire Bernish of The Daily Sheeple Imagine discovering your infant is one of only sixteen people ever to be diagnosed with a fatal genetic affliction for which the only shred of hope would entail a flight abroad for experimental treatment; but — rather than simply making the albeit complicated and costly trip — the highest court in the land rules your child must die. This dystopian nightmare might sound like a cinematic creation, yet it’s reality for pa

US Mint Releases New Fort Knox “Audit Documentation”. The First Critical Observations.
In response to a FOIA request the US Mint has finally released reports drafted from 1993 through 2008 related to the physical audits of the US official gold reserves. However, the documents released are incomplete and reveal the audit procedures have not been executed proficiently. Moreover, because the Mint could not honor its promises in full the costs ($3,144.96 US dollars) of the FOIA request have been refunded. Thanks to my readers that donated to the crowdfunding campaign I’ve been able to

U.S. Mint flunks Koos Jansen's gold audit document request, refunds his fee
Gold researcher Koos Jansen reports tonight that the U.S. Mint has provided him with some documents in response to his freedom-of-information request for documents related to audits of the U.S. gold reserve but the documents provided are incomplete, redacted, and hundreds of pages short of the number of pages he was told were involved for which he was charged, and so the Mint has refunded his payment. As the money for his payment was raised by crowdfunding from his readers, Jansen is refunding

Dear US Mint, We Gave You The FOIA Funds, Now Give Us The Fort Knox Audit Documents!
Interim research update. As readers might have saw on these pages, since 2014 I’ve been investigating the inventory audits of the US official gold reserves, which should proof the existence of the metal that embodies the credibility of the world reserve currency. My first article showed the official narrative: all the bars of in total 8,134 tonnes of gold spread over depositories at Fort Knox, West Point, Denver and New York, have been carefully counted, weighed, assayed and inventoried in betwe

The Power Of The Gold Community: Crowdfunding For FOIA Request Fort Knox Audit Documents Completes Within 24 Hours.
Since 2014 I’ve been investigating the alleged audits of the US official gold reserves. Of course my goal is to figure out if these audits are credible, or if they’re invented by the US government to silence the people that think gold has any value and forms the very material basis for a well-functioning monetary system. My first post on this subject, A First Glance At US Official Gold Reserves Audits, published on March 27, 2014, was purely based on publicly available reports. Not surprisingly,

Crowdfunding Review: Exploding Kittens; Bankrupt Zano; Will Crowdsourcing Ever Work
Crowdsourcing Hype Robots and artificial Intelligence will destroy 5.1 million jobs by 2020 says a study on the "Future of Jobs". Crowdsourcing was one of the big factors noted in the study. My comment last Friday was "I suspect crowdsourcing is one of those things with huge potential that never really flies because there is no money in it for anyone." More accurately, I should have said "no net money for anyone but the promoters". This weekend, readers emailed a series of article on a cwo

Big Banks Cutting Tens Of Thousands Of Jobs; Huge Implications
Some major banks -- which over the past few decades have grown into the biggest financial entities the world has ever seen -- appear to have hit a wall, and are now shedding tens of thousands of workers. Some recent examples: Barclays plans to cut more than 30,000 jobs (CNBC) - Barclays plans to cut more than 30,000 jobs within two years after firing Chief Executive Antony Jenkins this month, The Times reported on Sunday. This redundancy program, which could reduce the bank'

Is A Trap About To Be Sprung
New York artist Stephen Green's latest painting, DemandedDislocation, combines current affairs irony with a deeply sad vision of the future. Note the workers protesting for higher wages in front of the discount robots store. Green's point is that two big trends are intersecting: The push by workers for their fair share of record corporate profits, in the form of a higher minimum wage and better pay for jobs a rung or two up on the income ladder. Breakthroughs in robotics that

More than 25,000 Investors and Mining Types Walked into PDAC. The Result Was. . .Realistic
The Gold Report: What was the mood at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada annual meeting? Did any companies stand out to you? Brent Cook: There was an overall lack of "buzz" and news releases. Although many companies seemed to time news for the event, not many had market moving news. It seemed most companies were keeping their heads down. Chris Berry: Most were realistic. It is clear that the days of having the wind at the back of the mining industry based on China's increasin

Busting the Myths That Could Wipe Out Your Investments: Louis James, Marin Katusa and Rick Rule
Myth: Quantitative Easing Is Being Tapered Off The Gold Report: Why is the theory of tapering or turning quantitative easing (QE) off a myth and who really benefits from QE? Rick Rule: My view, as an investor, not an economist, is that QE is misnamed. I think it's another way of saying counterfeiting. It exists in large measure because we're running a trillion-dollar deficit and, while we can hoodwink investors into funding two-thirds of it, we need to print away the last third. TGR: What ar
