Monterde is located in the heart of the Sierra Madre Gold Belt of Northern Mexico, the Monterde property stretches for 37 kilometres and encompasses more than 29,000 hectares (290 sq km).
Carotare lies two kilometres to the west of the Carmen with a surface expression of twice the length of Carmen

| History of the Monterde Carotare Project |
|
The Monterde property includes the site of what was once the old underground Carmen Mine. The mine was operating from 1937 – 1945 and produced approximately 50,000 oz of gold with a cut-off grade of 15 g/t.
