Location of the Opinaca (A, A-East, B and B-North) Project
The Opinaca A & B gold properties lie immediately east and north of the Eleonore gold discovery, and northeast of the Opinaca Reservoir in the James Bay area of Quebec. The Project lies some 350 km north of Matagami and 110 km north of the Cree village of Nemiscau.

Geology of the Opinaca (A, A-East, B and B-North) Project
Most of the property is underlain by the thick metasedimentary pile of the Laguiche Group, consisting of biotite schist pervasively intruded by quartzo-feldspathic pegmatite, which was formerly identified as paragneiss. A few intrusions of granodiorite and tonalite occur to the south (Simard and Gosselin 1999, Bandyayera and Fliszar 2007).
