The 4 kilometre strike at Massawa contains 3 separate zones with different structural, lithological and mineralisation characteristics. Generally speaking the system locates at a volcanic/sedimentary contact which has been sheared and intruded by a suite of igneous rocks including gabbros and porphyries.
