History of the Omaruru Project |
The Omaruru area was subject to an earlier gold exploration program by Anglo in 1990. Their regional stream geochemistry and detailed soil-sampling program identified several large areas with anomalous gold values. Widespread garnet-diopside skarn alteration with occasional elevated gold values in marbles was reported in several horizons over considerable strike lengths.
