The Dam copper-gold deposit is located 14 kilometers north-northwest of Temora. The deposit is crossed by sealed roads, on the West Wyalong-Temora road and adjacent to rail and power lines.

History of the Dam deposit Project |
One kilometer to the west of the Dam copper - gold prospect, is the Gidginbung gold - silver mine, which ceased production in early 1996. The Gidginbung deposit produced 700,000 ounces of gold from an oxidized high-sulphidation system over a ten year period.
