The Silangan (Formerly Boyongan) copper-gold porphyry deposit is located in the Surigao gold district at the north-eastern tip of Mindanao Island in the Philippines, approximately 750km southeast of Manila.

|
Diamond drilling at Boyongan commenced in May 2000. In August of the same year the discovery hole (TSD-6) intersected oxide copper mineralization, comprising malachite and azurite veinlets and fracture coatings within potassic altered diorite porphyry. The weighted
average value of the intercept from 93m downhole is 329m at a grade of 0.90% Cu and 2.07g/t Au.
