The Cerro Colorado Claims Group lies within one of the oldest producing mining districts in Arizona.
 
History of the Cerro Colorado (USA) Project
Small, scattered, relatively shallow mines and prospects active intermittently from at least the 1770’s to about 1950. Total estimated and recorded production has been some 4,500 tons of ore containing approximately 376,000 ounces silver, 460 ounces gold and small amounts of copper and lead.
 
Geology of the Cerro Colorado (USA) Project
