History of the Parrott Hill Project
The aim of the Parrott Hill Project was to test the up-dip potential of the 1987 Parrott Hill 1 well which encountered a 6.2 metre oil column beneath the Muderong Shale, but failed to flow fluids to surface. The overall unrisked recoverable potential of the target was estimated at 500,000 barrels.
