The Sorby Hills lead-silver project is located in the north-east of the Kimberley region of Western Australia, and approximately 50 kilometres by road from the regional centre of Kununurra
 
History of the sorby Hills Project
The deposit was discovered in 1971 by Aquitane Australia Minerals, and consists of a series of 13 separate but adjacent carbonate hosted, near surface lead-silver-zinc deposits in the Burt Range Formation within the Bonaparte Basin. The mineralisation is considered to be characteristic of Mississippi Valley-type deposits
