Location of the Pokrovskiy Rudnik Project
Access to the Pokrovskiy mine is either by air service from Blagoveschensk to Zeya (88 km from the mine) or by Trans-Siberian Railways from Khabarovsk (18 hours) to Tygda (10 km from the mine). The car journey from the regional capital Blagoveschensk to the mine takes approximately 7 hours.
 
History of the Pokrovskiy Rudnik Project
The Pokrovskiy deposit is the largest producing mine in the Amur region and has been in operation for more than seven years. OJSC Pokrovskiy Rudnik was formed in 1994 and the first gold was recovered from the mine in 1999.
