VANCOUVER, May 5 /CNW/ - Copper Ridge Explorations Inc. (TSX-V: KRX) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Company has approved, subject to regulatory approval, a change of name of the company to Redtail Metals Corp.

The proposed change of name reflects the Company's focus on base metals with significant precious metals content, and more closely identifies the Company with the other member companies of the Predator Group which also includes Golden Predator Corp., Silver Predator Corp., and Tigris Uranium Corp.

Stock Option Grant

The Company also announces that it has granted 392,500 incentive stock options to its directors, officers, employees and consultants at an exercise price of $0.45 per share, and expiring five years from the date of grant. The stock options are subject to vesting pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan.
